When we consider that real learning and development only occurs when self-awareness, participation, and a tangible sense of progress are evident; psychometric assessments are a key implement in the learning & development toolkit. Furthermore, they can be used across a host of training applications including: building team effectiveness, leadership development, enhancing resilience and well-being, improving interpersonal effectiveness, as well as in supporting communication skills training to name a few.
In this session, Simon Miller and Vino Ramkissoon of OPRA Psychology Group will discuss the use of psychometric assessments and surveys in learning and development. They will introduce a variety of research-based options that support individuals and organisations to identify strengths and target areas for development. In doing so, they will draw on organisational case studies and examples that demonstrate the practical application of psychometrics across the L&D lifecycle. In addition, they will utilise a variety of experiential learning activities to highlight how assessment insights can be incorporated into instructional design, and translated into measurable behavioural change and business ROI.
